Founder
Will Burke earned his MBA and BSBA from the University of Denver. Will founded Burke Insurance Group, LLC. in December of 1980. His firm has received the BIG 1, and Best Practices Award for, “One of the Top Agencies in the United States”, every year since 2003. He is a member of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers; a Board of Director and Treasurer of the New Mexico Roofing Contractors Association; a Licensed Agent for all lines of insurance in New Mexico, and a non-resident Agent in numerous other states. In addition, is an Instructor for the CPA society of New Mexico, as well as a Certified Insurance Counselor and Legal Underwriter. Will enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, learning to be a photographer, playing tennis, gardening, fantasy football, and bocce ball.

Managing Member
William Burke is a managing member at Burke Insurance Group, LLC. He received his BA from the University of Denver, and proudly served in the United States Navy. William is also a Commercial Lines and Surety Advisor; a Treasurer at New Mexico Roofing Contractor Association; a Construction Financial Management Association Board Member; a member of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers, and a Las Cruces Young Professionals Council Member. William is married and loves spending time with his wife and family. Additionally, his wife claims that he is allergic to ceilings, so he is usually found outdoors, jogging in the desert with his dog Mack, playing golf, tennis, and being the official taste-tester for his wife’s baking.
SHAWN GUSTAFSON
Managing Member
Shawn Gustafson is a managing member at Burke Insurance Group, LLC. Shawn graduated from the University of Southern Colorado, with a BS and Minor in Business. He has also been a Certified Insurance Counselor since 2011, a Treasurer at the New Mexico Roofing Contractor Association from 2014-2018, an Independent Electrical Contractor Board Member from 2017-present, and a member of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers from 2007-present. Shawn enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and restoring cars.
